Runners!
I write here mostly about running, however, a huge part of me is also a data scientist. Geologist by training, I now run a software company, Think Ubiquitous. We make modular data analytic software packages for all kinds of purposes: many have to do with hydrology, geology, and natural resources, but also look at economic development, municipal growth, and human skills capabilities.
Right now I’m working on a visualization of race and runner satisfaction, and I’m working to collect all the data I can about the races runners have done in the past year. I would LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR RACES – this is a golden opportunity!
